Hubby got asked the loyalty questions
by atacrossroads inafter hubby skipped out on the memorial his parents and close friends started getting more assertive with him.
before they took on the role of the concerned let me rescue you from your apostate wife's clutches.
it's 100% my fault he stopped being a witness according to the inlaws.

Smiddy is dead on. They can't defend their faith against someone who questions it. We were asked at the back of the hall by the cobe that same question so hubby threw the question right back in his face. When asked don't you believe in the faithful and discreet slave, hubby answered don't you? The cobe didn't didn't answer. He was put on the spot and asked us if we would go into another room to talk and we said no. Then their stalking began. Throw their questions right back into their faces and watch what they really think of their troof. -

Todays WT about young people not following the bad example of their parents
by konceptual99 inso the wt today had some paragraphs that told young people they could make their own stand for da troof.... 2 since we live in a fierce, loveless world, it is no surprise that many children have to grow up without the benefit of loving, protective parents.
(2 tim.
3:1-5) many christians today come from painful family backgrounds, but they have built close friendships with jehovah.

Yeah Data Dog, or the fact that it's god that gives us free will and it's him alone that can take that free will away from us. Ask a poor molested child if they had wanted to report the creep that molested them and they will say yes! But who silenced them and took their free will away from them so they couldn't report the crime. JW.Org, that's who.
Or ask a child if they want to live instead of die and they will say they want to live. Yet, it was this cult that said no blood transfusion for all these victims. They must die. Absolutely no free will allowed in JW.Org Cult.

I was disfellowshipped because of Satan
by elbib induring co visit, i took him for a bible study i was conducting.
during the session, the householder said he believed satan was not a person, but personification of evil within us.
i left co to handle householder’s doubt.

Stuckinarut2,
it's not hard. We had two uneducated goon elders at the end of our lane look at my husband and say the very same thing: YOUR DISFELLOWSHIPPED! They yelled at him so loud that I could hear it from the house. They are showing how desperate they are.

My 14-year-old niece is being disfellowshipped
by keyser soze ini was contacted by my ex sister-in-law yesterday.
she asked me if i wanted to spend some time with my niece, while she went to her sister's baby shower.
it turns out my niece can't go because she's about to be disfellowshipped at the ripe old age of 14. .

Keyser, this is so so sad. Be there for her. I have a niece that got df'd at sixteen and she is almost forty now. Her parents haven't spoken once to her in that time. She has a sister who just got df'd. She is pregnant and living with a guy and has just him for her friend. She can't even call her mother if she has questions concerning health issues that might run in the family. They are both really nice girls but really messed up when it comes to trusting anyone or having relationships. The one girl had broken down in the middle of Toronto with her car and she couldn't even call a family member for help. Had it not been for a kind taxi driver that paid for her motel room and got her to where she would be safe, this org would have been blood guilty had anything happened to her. She was terrified. Again, I say this, let her know you will always be there for her anytime of night or day. -

Wt "study" Participation, is it a "True Believer" Indication?-- or not?
by prologos inin our congregation, the elders rarely comment.
the majority rarely comment, 2 sisters, vehemently, and often comment.
since in their case, it can not possibly be" teaching in the congregation", is participation in the wt "study"in general an affirmation of faith?

One guy in the Fergus congregation finally made it to being an ms but was butt kissing so bad to be an elder. The body of elders told him that they wouldn't make him an elder because his teenage daughters don't comment. The guy was never liked and what do you expect from a bunch of elders who are all related and want their boys to be first in line for eldership even though bethel kicked their sons out once they found out their were naked pics of them on the internet sent in to bethel. Forget about commenting, to fit in you have to be a drinker and butt licker. -

Does Jesus refute the Watchtower Blood prohibition?
by Terry inthis is the jerusalem council of faithful jewish christians addressing what obstacles gentile converts must hurdle to be accepted by them.
(note: this statement is a paraphrase of a much earlier law of the sons of noah.).
acts 15: "it is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the gentiles who are turning to god" (v. 19).

Excellent Terry! It's writings like this that will make a jw think and look into it further then to criticize or try to convert them to another kind of belief. This site use to be good that way with different ones using only the scriptures. This one made me think once again.
Thanks!

As far as the co's wife went, they never built up anyone. The cos and their wives always worked with the elders and their wives only. Never the publishers. Never! The elders wives would butt kiss them non-stop on top of having their meals prepared for them. And never ever ever did the co's wives sit in on the pioneer meetings. They always stayed in their apartments attached to the back of the kingdom halls. And never did the co come and visit us when we stopped going to our meetings.
However, the one year we gave a decent donation and the po wanted to make hubby an elder. So the next co visit, they had hubby doing a couple of the ministry school parts. That was the same night hubby walked off the stage right after his part and handed his key for the hall over to him and told him he didn't want it anymore nor to do the literature counter anymore. Hubby also had a crack at balancing the accounts since the elder told him he didn't want to do it. Hubby at that time was only in the troof for one year. This is such a joke!

Some gems from the "Anointed" WT study
by NotBlind ini know this has been discussed before, but i think some of these wacky (but thought-provoking) comments deserve their own thread.. paragraph 6 says: modestly, anointed ones acknowledge that they do not necessarily have more holy spirit than those with an earthly hope.
they do not claim to have special knowledge or revelations; neither do they try to prove that they are in some way superior.
somebody needs to send this memo to the gb.

Vidiot,
I've asked him the same question. He was born in to the old order mennonite religion. got kicked out for disagreeing. He was then studied with by the jw's for over thirty years off and on. Finally when his mennonite community excommunicated him, he started coming to the jws. He says that him and his wife are eighty years old and he can't see himself picking up and moving again. He welcomes the elders to kick him out but he knows they won't. Eighty percent of the territory there is all mennonite and all intermarried or related. He says the elders need him more than he needs them.
When he became a jw, the elders had parts after parts at the assemblies but they would never have this old guy up on the platform in fear he might say something like he still believes in the cross and that you have to die first in order to be reborn. He says he put the elders on the map and made them famous at these conventions. Him and his wife are allowed to only work with the elders and their wives and now I know why. They want to keep this quiet since this guy has never kept it secret on what he really thinks about his belief. No one in the congregation can understand how these two got away with getting baptized.
The cobe of the congregation has actually taken him aside and told him that he knows what this guy has been up to. (keeping in contact with us) and that he's well aware of it, that nothing is a secret and to better watch himself. They took all his reading parts away from him and they don't pick him for comments. There's a sister from out west who knows it's me writing this and she has a big mouth. She has read all of Franz's books, reads all the apostate sites and yet stays in the org because her husband is an elder. It would be her that has told the elders about this poor old guy and us.
I do have to laugh when we talk to him. He partook again this year even though he refuses to use the org's bible. He will only use his King James. He will write out a letter to all his return visits stating why this org's doctrines are all wrong. And he does this right under the elders noses at the doors. He's been hauled in to the second school twice about not partaking by two twenty-five year old elders. He says if they ever kick him out, he will try his other son's religion. He has nine kids. He says he's just waiting for them to do it!

So why doe the bethel print out a brochure just for their beloved bethel family when one of the anointed passes away like John Barr and others? We saw the one on John Barr "who's earthly course had finally ended". Then, the older bethelite tells us he's up in heaven now receiving his heavenly reward. We were told the org publishes a brochure when one of their mentally imbalanced anointed ones pass away. They don't do it for all bethelite members yet their all suppose to be equal. They speak outside of both their mouths at the same time.
It would only make sense to me that since it was Jesus father who picked him to be the Anointed One, and all authority has been given to Jesus in heaven and on earth, that it would be Jesus himself that would pick the 144,000. And who's to say that won't happen until he sets up his kingdom on earth. Ruling over the earth can also mean the ruling here on earth over the entire earth and not from heaven.
In our old hall, they have an anointed member who refuses to use their silver sword and uses his King James bible only. He says the org's bible is a joke. He believes you have to be born again/die in order to inherit the kingdom and still believes that Jesus died on the cross. When ever he goes out in service he makes sure he writes a letter letting the householder know all what's wrong with the religion's doctrines. Yeah, he's definitely anointed.
The only reason why the elders keep him working only with them is because his past religion is eighty percent of their territory and he's eighty years old. If he got df'd, the whole community/town would make quite a noise and bethel would want to know why the elders weren't on top doing something about this guy. It's a joke. This man had shown up on my doorstep the one night with a book on jw's. It was written by Russell Reed and so we traded books. He's read both of Ray Franz's books twice. Yep! For sure he's one of the org's annointed.
